Aquaponic System

       Aquaponics is the method of growing crops and fish together in a re-circulating hydroponic system.It is the combination of aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics,. The fish waste provides an organic food source for the growing plants and the plants provide a natural filter for the water the fish live in. The third participants are the microbes (nitrifying bacteria) . They do the job of converting the ammonia from the fish waste into nitrates  and then into nitrogen which will then be used as food for the growing plants.
